Verder Group’s Qness and ATM merge to form QATM

Hardness testing machine manufacturer Qness GmbH, headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, has merged with German materialography brand ATM to become QATM.
The two companies have worked together under the umbrella of the Verder Group’s Scientific Division since the group’s acquisition of Qness in 2018, three years on from the inclusion of ATM. It was stated that this previous collaboration illustrated the way in which the respective companies’ products complement one another.
QATM will function as a combination of the widespread knowledge, ideas and customer-oriented support of the two teams. The product portfolios of ATM and Qness will be merged, allowing customers to have one dedicated contact person for future materialography and hardness testing projects.
