Replique, based in Mannheim, Germany, has announced the launch of its Additive Manufacturing material database. Replique stated that with the support of trusted material partners, it aims to make the collective material knowledge accessible to the AM community and streamline the use of AM for businesses.

The careful and informed selection of materials is crucial for the success of AM projects, explains Replique. However, the process for this can be labour-intensive. Replique’s material database is intended to simplify this process with its platform, allowing customers to select the ideal materials for their specific applications.

The database provides various filtering options, including technical specifications, industry standards, and application fields. In the future, it will also offer quick access to reference cases and certificates, eliminating the need for time-consuming inquiries.

Replique sees the material database an essential component its ecosystem, which includes various services, such as Additive Marking that enables the traceability of AM parts. This holistic approach is intended to enable Replique’s users to conveniently access all the necessary information and services within a single central interface.
