Mike Marucci receives Delaware Valley Materials materials award

Mike Marucci, vice president of Business & Technology at Kymera International, headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, USA, has been named Delaware Valley Materials Person of the Year by the ASM Philadelphia Liberty Bell Chapter. Each year, this award is presented to a member in the Delaware Valley region (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware) who has made a significant achievement in the materials community.

Marucci is based in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, where he is responsible for new product development at Kymera International. Prior to this role, he acted as vice president of Sales & Marketing for powders at AMETEK Specialty Metal Products, Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Prior to this, Marucci acted variously in several technology and sales leadership roles at GKN Powder Metallurgy and GKN Hoeganaes.

He is a graduate of Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received degrees in Materials Engineering and Engineering Management. Presently, he serves on the MPIF Board of Governors.
