Hagen Symposium 2021 to take place as planned

November 23, 2021

The 39th Hagen Symposium on Powder Metallurgy, organised by the Fachverband Pulvermetallurgie (FPM), will take place November 25–26, 2021, in Hagen, Germany. The German-language event will include presentations on a wide range of PM technologies, including discussions on the theme of this year’s event, ‘Powder Metallurgy – Sustainable Solutions and New Markets’.

The winner of this year’s Skaupy Award, to be presented during the symposium, was also announced as Prof Christoph Broeckmann of RWTH Aachen University, Germany. In his opening Skaupy lecture, Prof Broeckmann will present his paper ‘The digital twin in Powder Metallurgy – How can numerical simulations map our process chain?’

In line with the city of Hagen’s current COVID-19 restrictions, access to the symposium is only available to those who have been fully vaccinated.

Further information about the programme is available through the organiser’s website.
