Industrial Diamond Association presents INTERTECH 2017

The INTERTECH 2017 conference will be held at the Marriot San Francisco Airport Waterfront in San Francisco from April 20-22, the Industrial Diamond Association has announced.

The conference will serve as a forum for industry experts on industrial diamond, cubic boron nitride, polycrystallines, CVD diamond, CVD cubic boron nitride, nanodiamond and other suberabrasive and ultra-hard materials. Experts will be present to represent international suppliers, manufacturers, research facilities, academia, end-users, machine tool builders and the scientific community.

Papers will be presented on technological subjects on both industrial and commercial levels, with a particular focus on diamond and cubic boron nitride tooling use in machining and grinding components in major industries such as aerospace and automotive. Expected to be covered are titanium, high silicon aluminium, superalloys, high tech ceramics, ceramic matrix composites, metal matrix composites, carbon fibre composites, bi-metals, glass, cermets and others.

INTERTECH 2017 is open to paper submissions, abstracts for which can be submitted electronically via their website. The early pay discount deadline has been extended to April 1.
