6K Inc., located in North Andover, Massachusetts, has been recognised as one of the ‘Top Performing Innovation Partners’ in the Stellantis 2023 Venture Awards. Stellantis, one of the world’s leading automakers with brands that include Chrysler, Dodge and Fiat, recognised eleven top-performing technology startups with the second annual Stellantis Venture Awards.

Stellantis is reported to have invested in 6K earlier this year, with the company highlighting a number of significant milestones. These include breaking ground on PlusCAM, the world’s first sustainable multi-chemistry cathode manufacturing plant, in which 6K is investing over $200 million, to its recent $23.4 million Department of Defense DPA Title III award for upcycling critical metals, bringing new materials to market including pure copper, copper alloys and bronze in partnership with Metal Powder Works as well as signing a five-year supply agreement with Forge Nano for two GWh of cathode active material from the PlusCAM factory.
