Tessa Stillman receives ASTM International Committee’s Distinguished Service Award

Tessa Stillman, Senior Manager, Standards and Technical Services at the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF), Princeton, New Jersey, USA, has received the Distinguished Service Award from ASTM International Committee on Metal Powders and Metal Powder Products.
ASTM Committee B09 on Metal Powders and Metal Powder Products was formed in 1944. The committee meets twice each year, in April and October, with about 20 members participating in 11 meetings over three days. The Committee, with a membership of approximately 75 members, currently has jurisdiction of over 60 approved standards that are published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 2.05.
Stillman, a member of ASTM International since 2003, was recognised for her many years of distinguished service to the committee, notably as the MPIF liaison. Since joining the MPIF in 1973, Stillman has served in a variety of management and administrative positions with trade organisation.
