July 24, 2012

The RM Forum ‘Metal Sintering’ seminar, organised by Eris Program and Eris Eventi, will focus on the selective laser melting of metal powders in rapid manufacturing applications, in particular in the Aeronautics, Medical and Racing sectors.

The event, scheduled for 20-21 September, 2012, will take place at the Sheraton Milan Malpensa Airport Hotel, Italy, and comprises of three half day seminars and exhibition.

The topics of the seminar include:

  • State of the art of the Metal Powder Additive Sintering for Rapid Manufacturing (RM) in the Medical, Aeronautics and Racing sectors
  • Design for Additive Manufacturing
  • Materials for Additive Technologies
  • Software solutions for automation and control of the Additive Manufacturing file preparation and production process steps
  • Certifications guaranteeing production
  • Cost analysis in the use of Additive and Removal technologies
  • The experience of Service Companies that provide a RM service
  • The case studies of major companies that have implemented such Additive Technologies within their production lines.
