Seco/Warwick Group will hold the 21st edition of its Heat Treatment seminar at its headquarters in Świebozin, Poland, September 12–14, 2018. According to the group, the seminar, titled ‘Heat Treatment 4.0’, will address the way that changes to manufacturing, such as the growing role of optimisation, transparency and automation in production processes, brought about by the 4th industrial revolution (or ‘Industry 4.0’) will affect the heat treatment industry.

The three-day event will incorporate an open day at the company’s production plant, and a seminar with lectures across three themes: hybrid technologies, optimisation and transparency of production processes, and intelligent tools including Seco/Predictive Maintenance 4.0. According to the company, the lectures will be presented by well-known industry experts, as well as representatives of business and academia.

Katarzyna Sawka, Global Marketing Director at Seco/Warwick Group, commented, “As a leader in metal heat treatment solutions, we closely monitor the situation in the industry. Keeping our finger on the pulse, we observe changes in the sector and analyse all reports. We combine this knowledge with a passion for innovation, and it is thanks to this that the seminar we organise ensures such a high substantive level and a programme that perfectly fits the current trends.”

The seminar programme also incorporates several networking opportunities, such as a casual dinner on the first day and daily networking coffee breaks and lunches thereafter. Registration for the event is now open, and the price includes hotel accommodation for two nights, all meals and conference materials. Attendees to the full seminar programme will also receive a certificate of completion.
