Sandvik and BEAMIT to showcase combined strengths at Formnext 2021

October 13, 2021

Sweden’s Sandvik Additive Manufacturing and BEAMIT Group, Fornovo di Taro, Italy, will exhibit together at Formnext 2021, November 16–19, 2021, Frankfurt, Germany, for the second time, showcasing their combined offering. The companies first exhibited together at Formnext 2019, following Sandvik’s acquisition of a significant stake in the BEAMIT Group.

Within the companies’ partnership, Sandvik adds value through its 159 years of leading material expertise, and offers what it states is the widest range of metal powders on the market. It also has a wide base of Additive Manufacturing and post-processing technologies installed in-house at its facilities.

Combined with BEAMIT’s experience of more than two years in the AM industry, the company believes that its joint offering across the AM value chain is unique on the market. Recently, BEAMIT acquired 3T Additive Manufacturing, making it one of the largest independent AM service providers in the world.

At Formnext 2021, Sandvik will showcase its wide range of Osprey® metal powders, including the most recent addition; titanium and nickel-base superalloys. The company will also display several industrial AM customer cases that highlight the joint expertise of Sandvik and BEAMIT while spotlighting various materials, AM technologies, and post-processing methods.
