Rio Tinto Metal Powders has announced the appointment of Marie Lapointe as the new Executive Director of Operations for Steel and Powders.
Lapointe replaces Sylvain Paul-Hus, who was recently named Vice President – Operations strategy, Engineering and External affairs at Rio Tinto Fer & Titane, RTMP’s parent company in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.
With over 25 years of experience, Lapointe holds an engineering degree and has successfully filled various roles at Rio Tinto Alcan, including plant management positions.
She will work closely with Greg Lavallee, RTMP General Manager to continue meeting customer demand for the company’s products.
