Powder Metallurgy Sintering Course to be held in Helsingborg, Sweden
December 12, 2011
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is planning to hold an intensive two day short course ‘PM Sintering – Fundamentals and Mass Production’. The course will take place at the Elite Hotel Marina Plaza in Helsingborg, Sweden, 18th – 20th March 2012.
Sintering is a key part of the PM process. It is during this step that the consolidated powder compact acquires the strength needed to fulfil its intended use as an engineering product. “The course will be particularly beneficial to technical and managerial personnel in the PM industry and also useful to academics and researchers who wish to gain an overview of trends in sintering technology,” stated Joan Hallward, EPMA’s Course Coordinator.
The participation fee for the 2 day course is €495 for EPMA members, €595 for non-members and €396 for academics or students. For further information and to register for the PM Sintering Short Course visit: www.epma.com/shortcourse
