PMG Shanghai receives ‘Excellent Supplier Award’ at DPT Supplier Day

PMG Shanghai, the Chinese subsidiary of the Powder Metallurgy parts maker, PMG, headquartered in Füssen, Germany, has received an ‘Excellent Supplier Award’ from Dongfeng Dinsin Powertrain Technology Co., Ltd. (DPT), a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor, during DPT Supplier Day.
DPT provides dual clutch transmission (DCT) and reduction components to Dongfeng and other OEMs. The PMG Shanghai plant supplies synchroniser components to DPT for its DCT150, DCT200 and DCT300 transmissions. The award is said to recognise PMG’s quality control, delivery and service performance over the past years.
Founded in 1960, PMG has eight facilities on three continents and over 1,400 employees. It specialises in the automotive industry and provides transmission and engine and shock absorber parts as well as being one of the leading automotive suppliers for drive and chassis components.
