PMAI announces call for papers for PM23 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy

The Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) has issued a call for papers for the PM23 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials + Exhibition which is scheduled to take place in Mumbai, India, on March 13–15, 2023. The organisers are seeking technical papers from those in industry, research and academia from various sectors of Powder Metallurgy.

Papers on the following topics will be accepted:

  • Industrial PM (Press & Sinter) technology for auto, electrical and machine parts
  • Powder Injection Moulding (MIM & CIM)
  • Additive Manufacturing
  • Hardmetals and diamond tools
  • Development of materials & alloys for emerging applications
  • Technical ceramics

Accepted papers will be eligible for the Prof G S Tendolkar Award, the winner of which will receive a cash prize and a certificate for the best paper on the fundamentals of PM. There will also be a Young Promising Professional award for the best paper of industrial relevance.

The PM23 International Conference on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials + Exhibition addresses PM-related developments by way of presentations made by experts in each field. Attendees will have access to more than 100 technical presentations from worldwide experts presenting the latest technology developments. The PMAI’s 48th Annual Technical Meeting will run concurrently with the event and provides a platform for industrialists, researchers and students from scientific establishments & academia to present their work.

The submission deadline for abstracts is January 5, 2023. Accepted papers will be announced on January 31. Accepted papers must be submitted in full by February 28.
