A new publication entitled ‘Handbook of Powder Metallurgy’ has been published by Metallurgy Industry Press, Beijing, China.

Written in Chinese, the 1144 page two part handbook’s Chief Editor is Han Fenglin, with Zhang Jingmen, Cao Yongjia, Yin Weihong listed as Assistant Chief Editors. In total, the publication includes submissions from around 80 industry experts, providing a comprehensive overview of Powder Metallurgy technology.
The first volume of the handbook begins with an outline of the technology followed by chapters on Production Methods and Characterisation of Metal Powder, Testing Methods and Standard Collection of Metal Powder Metallurgy Materials, Forming and Caking, Iron and Steel Powder Metallurgy Materials.
The second volume covers Non-Ferrous Powder Metallurgy Materials, Powder Metallurgy Functional Materials, Refractory Metals and Products, Cemented Carbide Tooling and Wear Parts Production, Application of PM Parts.
