“In India there is great potential for the use of sintered parts in, for example, automotive applications” states Khole, “average sintered parts used in any vehicle manufactured in India is 2 to 3 Kgs in total, where as in some western countries the auto manufacturers are using around 15 to 16 Kgs sintered parts in a vehicle”.

“Currently in India most of the Auto manufacturers are trying to convert some of the forged parts to sintered parts. But there are only three or four companies who can produce such parts. Naturally there is an opportunity in this sector” continued Khole.

Prakash Anant Khole has many years experience of manufacturing sintered products, having worked for a total of 30 years with companies such as Mahindra Sintered Products Ltd, GKN Sintered Products Ltd and Maxtech Sintered Products Ltd (a joint venture with Miba Group). “Myself and my team members have a rich experience in the manufacturing of small, medium and large complex, multilevel sintered parts. We also have expertise in stainless steel sintered parts”, he added.

The group offer consultancy in:

– Compaction/Forming

– Sintering

– Sizing/Auto sizing

– Steam Treatment

– Heat Treatment

– Machining

– Manufacturing Filters

– Implementing ISO/TS 16949/ISO 14000
