MPIF’s Powder Metallurgy Magnetic Materials and Testing Seminar set for October

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) is set to host its Powder Metallurgy Magnetic Materials and Testing Seminar in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, October 25-26, 2023.
The seminar will cover:
- The wide range PM magnetic materials that are available (including PM soft-magnetic alloys, soft magnetic composite (SMC) materials, and sintered permanent magnets), how to test these materials and their market potentials
- The testing of magnetic materials, including copper wire wound toroids, as well as AC and DC analysis
- AC and DC, electric motor and other electrical device applications
- Four hours of hands-on training in the Magnet-Physics Laboratory measuring and analysing magnetic fields of PM magnetic materials including soft magnetic, sintered PM, SMC materials and permanent sintered magnets
