January 22, 2017

The Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy (JSPM) will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its founding during its International Conference on Powder and Powder Metallurgy taking place at Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, November 7-8, 2017.

The conference will target the fields on which the Society is focused, namely powder and Powder Metallurgy, and in addition to calling for technical presentations from around the world, the event will include talks by invited speakers.

Call for Papers

Participants wishing to make a presentation in the technical programme should submit an abstract in English no later than 7 June 2017. The organiser states that submissions will only be accepted via the online submission system and should be original, unpublished work covering the results of the latest research, innovations or improvements in Powder Metallurgy processes or products.

Papers of Oral/Poster Sessions will be eligible for publication in the Journal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy, which is a Scopus-indexed journal. Authors will be notified of the guidelines for preparation of manuscripts with their acceptance letters by the end of July 2017.
