Ipsen USA now offers heat treatment training on-site at customer facilities

May 18, 2021

Ipsen USA, Cherry Valley, Illinois, USA, reports that, in addition to classroom-style training based at its manufacturing facility, the company now offers on-site ‘Ipsen U’ courses to accommodate large groups at customer facilities. The Ipsen U course is designed to teach heat treatment fundamentals, best practices and new methods via an extensive overview of vacuum furnace equipment, processes and maintenance.

Featuring a hands-on approach to learning, the class’s modular format also allows participants to directly interact with several Ipsen experts and ask questions about their specific needs and concerns.

For the on-site training, customers can choose which topics to focus on, allowing for a customised, experience that follows safety protocols.

The next Ipsen U class is scheduled for August 3–5, 2021, in Cherry Valley. Attendees of the three-day course also have the opportunity of networking with other heat treaters and observing how furnaces are built at Ipsen’s Vacuum Technology Excellence Center.
