Imerys Graphite & Carbon appoints new distributor

Imerys Graphite & Carbon, headquartered in Bironico, Switzerland,  has announced a new distribution agreement with Soltex, Inc., based in Houston Texas. Soltex will distribute both synthetic and natural graphite from the TIMREX  product line throughout Canada, the USA and South America for lubricant applications.

TIMREX graphites cover a diverse range of carbons, from high-purity synthetic graphite with different particle sizes and morphology to naturally occurring graphite. TIMREX is said to offer low ash and sulphur content with a consistent particle size distribution. In addition to over 100 years of experience in the graphite industry, Imerys has the only active graphite mine in North America.

Soltex, Inc.,has been a supplier to the lubricant market since 1990 and has multiple locations throughout North America, offering customers access to their high-quality base components, chemical intermediates, lubricant additives and functional fluids reported to improve the performance of products and industrial automotive and consumer applications.
