Sweden’s Höganäs AB has inaugurated its new ArcX facility in Pune, India. The event was led by an opening speech from Sunil Muralidharan, Managing Director Höganäs India, which was followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a tour of the new facilities and a luncheon.

ArcX technology centres are strategically located in order to best serve global customers, with another location in Asia, two in Europe, and one each in North and South America.

Höganäs produces a full range of nickel-, iron- and cobalt-based atomised powders particularly suited to the needs of surface coating processes and applications such as powder welding, flame spraying, plasma spraying, HVOF (high-velocity oxy-fuel), HVAF (high-velocity air-fuel), PTA (plasma transferred arc), laser cladding and cold spraying.
