August 24, 2020

The 39th Hagen Symposium on Powder Metallurgy, organised by the Fachverband Pulvermetallurgie (FPM) and originally scheduled to take place in Hagen, Germany, on November 26–27, 2020, has now been postponed until November 25–26, 2021.
The 39th symposium’s theme and programme is expected to stay the same, with a focus on ‘Powder Metallurgy – Sustainable Solutions and New Markets’.
The organiser explains that the changes in transport technology and challenges of energy transition require new technical solutions, where sustainability is becoming increasingly important. With Powder Metallurgy undoubtedly facing major challenges, there are also numerous opportunities for new products and innovative and sustainable solutions for applications in existing and new markets.
