The 29th Hagener Symposium was held at Stadthalle Hagen, Germany, on 25-26 November 2010. A regular event every year, the conference attracted 232 delegates who enjoyed a program of one and a half days full of technical information from almost all areas of powder metallurgy.

In accordance with this year’s slogan “Shaping – Chances for Powder Metallurgy”, which provided a framework for the technical presentations, many authors focused on the various shaping processes of PM technology.

The accompanying exhibition featured products and services from 55 exhibitors. Raw materials suppliers, press and furnace manufacturers, suppliers of testing equipment and research institutions offered their products and services to the German-speaking PM community.

In a series of e-newsletters and articles that will appear on this website over the next few weeks we will review the highlights of the symposium.
