EPMA launches AM Motion collaboration survey

September 1, 2017

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has launched a survey related to the collaboration needs of its members as part of the AM-motion H2020 project, launched November 2016.

The overall objective of the AM-Motion CSA is to contribute to a rapid market uptake of AM technologies across Europe by connecting and upscaling existing initiatives and efforts, improving the conditions for large-scale, cross-regional demonstration and market deployment, and by involving a large number of key stakeholders, particularly from industry.

According to the EPMA, the survey is aimed at better assessing the needs of the industry, with a particular emphasis on collaboration, in order to address them through its activities – such as a series of ‘Match-Making Sessions’ expected to take place in 2018.

In the framework of the AM Motion project, workshops will also be held in Brussels, Belgium, on October 18, 2017, with the objective of bringing together key stakeholders to identify barriers to AM business development on both the technological and non-technological side, and search for possible and feasible solutions on each of the following selected value chains:

  • Health
  • Aerospace
  • Automotive
  • Consumer goods
  • Electronics
  • Energy
  • Industrial equipment and tooling
  • Construction

The survey can be accessed here. Following completion, all participants will receive links to collaboration networks and strategic intelligence. For further information, participants should contact Dr Olivier Coube ([email protected]) or Scarlett Williams ([email protected]).
