EPMA 2014 Powder Metallurgy Thesis Competition entry deadline May 2

The deadline for entering the European Powder Metallurgy Association’s 2014 PM Thesis Competition is May 2. The competition, with prizes sponsored by Höganäs AB, has categories for both Diploma (Masters) and Doctorate (PhD) levels.

The competition is open to all applicants who have graduated from a European university and who have had their theses approved during the 2011/2012, 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 academic years. The subject must be classified under the topic Powder Metallurgy.

The winners will be presented with their prize at the opening plenary session of the Euro PM2014 Congress & Exhibition in Salzburg, Austria, on Monday September 22, 2014. Winners will each receive a cheque for €750 in the Diploma Category and €1,000 for the Doctorate category.
