Continuing production gains for China’s Powder Metallurgy industry

According to statistics published by the China Machine Powder Metallurgy Association (CMPMA), Powder Metallurgy part production increased by 9.8% to 126,061 tonnes in the first nine months of 2013 compared with the same period in 2012.

There was also a 9.8% increase in the sales value of PM products in the nine month period with the CMPMA reporting a total of Yuan 427,627 million ($701.7 million). However, exports fell by 4.2% in value but the total percentage of export sales remained at around 10% of total PM production. The figures are based on 47 PM enterprises reporting to the CMPMA.
