China’s 2021 National Conference on Powder Metallurgy to be held this month

China’s 2021 National Conference on Powder Metallurgy will be held from October 29–31, at Changsha International Conference Center, Changsha, Hunan Province. Held every two years, the event is seen as a key meeting for the PM industry in China.

The purpose of the conference is to promote knowledge exchange between scientific and technical personnel engaged in scientific research, development and the industrialisation of PM in China. It also enables the relevant government departments to explore and share the latest research results in the field of PM, with the end goal to enhance the status and role of PM in China’s national economic and social development.

During the meeting, well-known academics and experts in PM, as well as students working in the development of PM, will share their latest research. Both domestic and international experts and scholars are welcome to join the event.

The 2021 conference is organised by a number of national PM groups and technical organisations, including:

  • The Powder Metallurgy and Cermet Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Society
  • The Powder Metallurgy Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the Chinese Society of Metals
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the China Nonferrous Metal Processing Industry Association
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the China Machinery General Parts Industry Association
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the China Steel Structure Association
  • The Powder Metallurgy Branch of the Chinese Society for Materials Research
  • Central South University
  • The State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy
  • and The National Engineering Research Center for Powder Metallurgy
