Call for papers – 2010 Powder Metallurgy World Congress, Florence

The European Powder Metallurgy Association has published its ‘Call for Papers’ for the 2010 Powder Metallurgy World Congress, to be held in Florence, Italy, 10-14 October 2010. The event will take place at the Fortezza da Basso Congress Centre, situated within the historic centre of the city.
The organisers are inviting interested parties to submit abstracts for inclusion in the technical programme no later than November 30th 2009, with acceptance of papers mailed to authors by the end of February 2010. Abstracts can only by submitted online by visiting www.epma.com/pm2010.
The technical programme committee is chaired by Prof. Mario Rosso (Politechnico de Torino) and co-chaired by Dr Marco Actis Grande (Politechnico de Torino) and Prof. Herbert Danninger (TU Wien).
Special interest seminars are planned on hard materials, metal injection moulding, PM biomaterials and PM for emerging markets.
