ASCO Sintering opens sales office in Cape Town, South AfricaASCO Sintering Co., headquartered in Commerce, California, USA, has announced the appointment of Carlo Coenraad as its Sales Manager for Africa at the company’s new office in Cape Town, South Africa.

Coenraad has over 25 years of experience in the precision tooling and engineering sectors in Africa, including the management of a sintering plant that produced custom parts for South African and European companies requiring high strength precision sintered components.

ASCO Sintering manufactures a wide range of components to six sigma quality levels for sectors that include the automotive, aerospace, lock hardware, lawn/garden, medical device, recreational tools and defence industries. Capabilities include tool design, a complete metallurgical lab, warm compaction, high temperature sintering, sinter hardening, heat treatment, resin impregnation, vibratory de-burr, destructive and non-destructive testing and plating.
