YASA to display its axial flux high performance electric motors with soft magnetic iron powder stator core components

The YASA P400 Series electric motors and generators are the smallest and lightest in their class

YASA Motors, Abingdon, UK, will display its range of advanced axial flux electric motors at the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo taking place in Michigan, USA, September 13-15, 2016.

YASA’s proprietary axial flux motors are smaller and lighter than their competitors due to more efficient use of key magnetic and structural materials. The YASA motor topology also significantly reduces manufacturing complexity, making the motors ideally suited to automated volume production.

The axial flux high performance electric motor contains a number of pressed stator cores manufactured from Höganäs AB’s Somaloy soft magnetic composite iron powder.

YASA Motors will be on booth 1246.
