World Cutting Tool Conference 2024 to take place in Japan
January 12, 2023
The European Cutting Tools Association (ECTA) has announced that the World Cutting Tool Conference (WCTC) is scheduled to take place in Japan on May 21-24, 2024, hosted by the Japan Cutting & Wear-resistant Tool Association (JTA).
Originally scheduled to take place in 2022, WCTC typically takes place every three years, alternating between USA, Asia and Europe. The event acts as a global forum and networking even for those in the cutting tools and clamping technology industries. Strategic challenges will be discussed and industry connections are expected to be strengthened.
The ECTA has referred to the WCTC as the most important event of its calendar. The 2019 event, held in Tegernsee, Germany, by VDMA Precision Tools, saw 200 entrepreneurs and a total of approximately 240 participants from eighteen countries.
