Workshop to focus on corrosion and wear of Hot Isostatically Pressed (HIP) materials
February 4, 2014
A workshop on corrosion and wear of hot Isostatically Pressed (HIP) materials will take place at RWTH, Aachen, Germany, on March 27, 2014. The German language workshop will be held under the auspices of the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) and the Institute for Materials Applications in Mechanical Engineering (IWM).
The workshop follows the success of similar events in France and the UK, and aims to inform participants on new developments in the field of HIP, whilst providing a platform for personal interaction with experts in HIP technology.
HIP will be presented as an alternative to conventional manufacturing processes and identify possible areas of application for engineers in the development, design, materials and production departments of engineering companies in various different industries.
