Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research announces major UK expansion

Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research Ltd, Banbury, UK, has announced further expansion with the opening of a new materials testing facility in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The site is nearly triple the size of the previous location and enables the company to offer a wider range of testing services, increased capacity, and faster turnaround times. The facility is Nadcap certified and UKAS ISO 17025 accredited.
Fatigue and tensile testing capacity and capabilities have been significantly increased, as have the company’s composites testing services. Other key aspects of the expansion include an upgraded metallography laboratory, enhanced machining capabilities and a new laboratory information management system.
