UK Magnetics Society to organise course on designing magnetic products

The UK Magnetics Society has announced that its first training course, Designing Magnetic Products, will take place August 16 – 17, 2016, in Cambridge, UK. The course is designed for engineers, scientists or anyone interested in understanding the considerations involved in creating products which use magnets, including specifying, designing, manufacturing and shipping them.
The course will cover subjects required to successfully design and manufacture magnetic products, such as:
- Magnetic properties
- Magnet production methods
- Cost factors
- Design of magnetic circuits
- Practical aspects
- Specification
