Training course provides an overview of Powder Metallurgy

NAMTEC, the National Metals Technology Centre based in the UK, is organising a new training course providing an introduction to Powder Metallurgy. The two day course will be held in Rotherham, UK, and takes place 14-15 November 2011.
The course will offer participants an introduction to the principles of the process, the design, application and limitations of sintered products. The use of powder metallurgy components in the Automotive, Energy (including Oil and Gas), Aerospace and Defence sectors will also be described.
Aimed at personnel responsible for product design and/or material and manufacturing method selection, typical attendees will include design, materials production, process and quality engineers from the powder metallurgy processing sectors.
