February 26, 2025

Due to the devastating wildfires in the USA, impacting Pasadena and surrounding areas, The Magnetics Show has officially been relocated to Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan, and will take place from November 5 – 6, 2025.
The Magnetics Show 2025 will now be co-located with the High Entropy Alloy Expo, bringing together a more dynamic community of professionals at the forefront of materials science, magnetics, and advanced alloys.
Additionally, the event will host the Critical Minerals Institute (CMI) Summit V, reinforcing its status as a crucial convening point for industry leaders, the investment community and policymakers focused on tackling the global intricacies of critical materials and supply chains.
“Our thoughts are with those affected by the tragic fires in California, and while we regret having to leave Pasadena, we are committed to delivering a world-class experience in Detroit,” said Alexander Oliver, Managing Director, Select Global Events. “Huntington Place provides an excellent setting for innovation, collaboration, and networking, and we look forward to welcoming our global audience in this thriving industrial hub.”
“Hosting CMI Summit V in Detroit capitalises on the city’s strong manufacturing legacy, particularly in automotive, where critical minerals are essential. Detroit’s ideal location and industrial prowess make it the perfect setting to tackle the sector’s challenges, enhancing collaboration and investment in a city synonymous with innovation,” stated Jack Lifton, Co-Chair, Critical Minerals Institute (CMI).
All existing registrations and exhibitor agreements will automatically transfer to the new venue. In the coming weeks, further details on travel, accommodations, and programming updates will be shared.
