GOM, a 3D testing and 3D metrology systems provider, has announced it has moved to new headquarters in Braunschweig, Germany. The company stated that the relocation is a reaction to the rising demand for its systems and the worldwide need for automated measuring and inspection procedures.

In addition to increased production capacity, the campus of the new headquarters includes research and development laboratories, administration as well as a customer centre for training and presentations. At the site in Braunschweig up to 500 employees, including engineers, computer scientists and mathematicians, will work to develop its range of optical measuring technology.

GOM develops, produces and distributes software, sensor technology, automated systems and complete solutions for industrial applications in 3D metrology and 3D testing. Worldwide, the company comprises over 60 sites with an employee network of more than 1,000 metrology specialists, including partners and subsidiaries.
