Tekna webinar series begins with look at powder processing

May 12, 2020

Tekna, headquartered in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, is launching a webinar series with the first edition focusing on ‘Powder Processing in a Circular Economy.’. The first webinar, to be presented by Dr Jérôme Pollak, will take place on May 21, 2020, at 11:00 (Eastern US Time).

Dr Pollak has worked for Tekna for nine years and has experience in material development for Additive Manufacturing applications. He will discuss powder reconditioning processes by RF plasma and will explain how this process allows the transformation of out-of-spec recycled metal powders (feedstock) into high quality in-spec powders (end product), thus extending the service life of metal powders.
