Successful launch of Seco/Vacuum Technologies to North American markets

August 28, 2017

Seco/Vacuum Technologies, the newest company in the Seco/Warwick Group, has reported a strong initial entry into the North American vacuum heat treating market. The new company, which officially launched in early 2017, has received orders for eight new vacuum furnace systems in its first two months of operation.

According to Bill Warwick, VP of Sales for the company, orders for new, high technology vacuum furnaces have come from the aviation industry, the US military and the commercial heat treating industry.

“We’re pleased with the level of business we’re seeing this year even in the face of declining business for many others in the industry,” stated Warwick. “Our commitment to provide a technically advanced furnace system with intuitive, advanced controls and unwavering obsession to see our customers happy not only with the initial purchase, but with the total experience of owning one of our furnaces has really resonated with the marketplace. Our initial order levels are proof.”

Seco/Vacuum Technologies was established to exclusively service the vacuum heat treatment, brazing, sintering and metallurgy markets throughout North America. The company manufactures a broad line of standard and custom vacuum furnaces targeting the captive and commercial heat treatment, brazing and sintering markets for both primary and semi-finished component parts.

Plans to host an open house in the second quarter of 2018 were also announced. The open house will mark the opening of the company’s Vacuum Technology Showroom which will house production-scale demonstration equipment with the capability of running sample loads from customers.
