Solar Atmospheres of California adds Honeywell approval

Solar Atmospheres of California, Fontana, California, USA, has announced that it is now approved by Honeywell to heat treat austenitic, martensitic, PH, and tool steels, as well as nickel, cobalt, titanium and magnetic alloys. The complete list of over 160 specifications covered by this approval can be found on the Honeywell APSL.
“We are honoured to add this approval to support Honeywell and its supply base throughout the world,” stated Tim Barstow, Quality Manager for Solar Atmospheres of California.
Via a wide range of furnaces, Solar Atmospheres is capable of processing very small pieces as well as loads of 22,680 kg and up to 7.3 m. This approval is expected to translate into improved lead times and efficiencies for Honeywell supplies requiring heat treatment services.
