Short course on atomisation for metal powders

Atomising Systems Ltd and Perdac Ltd have announced the latest offering of their intensive two day advanced course on metal powder manufacture. ‘Atomisation for Metal Powders’ is scheduled to take place in Manchester, UK, February 27-18, 2014.

Now in its 10th year, the course will consist of presentations from Andrew Yule (Emeritus Professor Manchester University), John Dunkley (Chairman and MD Atomising Systems Ltd) and Dirk Aderhold (Technical Manager, Atomising Systems Ltd).

This intensive course will include sessions covering the main methods of atomising metals, the specific requirements for different classes of metal, the design, operation and economics of plant, measurement methods and an introduction to modelling and prediction techniques. All current atomiser types are covered together with a wide range of metals and powder types.

The course is unique and combines up to date practical information and theory and is useful for both production plant and R&D engineers.
