Seco names Hanna Lye as VP of Brand, Marketing and Communication

Seco, headquartered in Fagersta, Sweden, has named Hanna Lye as its new Vice President of Brand, Marketing, and Communication. She will report to Seco President Stefan Steenstrup and join the Seco Management Group.

Lye holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm. She brings extensive experience in strategic brand, marketing, and communication management. She is noted as having consistently demonstrated her ability to drive organisational success through impactful communication strategies.

In her most recent role as EVP Marketing and Communication at Epical, Lye was said to have played a pivotal role in creating and implementing a new brand to improve competitive positioning and support business growth. Before that, she held various managing positions within Ericsson, Telenor and IBM.

In Lye’s new role at Seco, she will actively participate in strengthening the company’s global brand position by developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives, leading the global business marketing function into the digital era, and ensuring consistent execution of the brand identity across all internal and external communication.

“With her extensive background in leading communication and marketing teams as well as her commitment to driving results make Hanna a valuable addition to the team. I am confident that her knowledge and leadership will contribute significantly to our continued success,” stated Stefan Steenstrup.
