Sweden’s Sandvik has announced that Christophe Sut, president of Business Area segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions, has chosen to leave the company for a CEO position elsewhere. Sut will leave Sandvik on August 11, 2023, and the process to find his successor has been initiated.

“Christophe Sut has made a strong contribution during his time at Sandvik, strengthening our digital manufacturing offering,” stated Stefan Widing, CEO and president of Sandvik. “He has been an appreciated member of the group executive management. While we of course would have liked to see him stay at Sandvik, this also shows our capability to build excellent leaders within Sandvik. I wish him all the best for the future.”

Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions is a global manufacturer of tools and tooling systems for advanced industrial metal cutting. In recent years, it has expanded into the areas of digital manufacturing solutions, Additive Manufacturing and in-line metrology.
