Programme announced for 4th International Conference on Titanium PM & AM

The preliminary conference programme for the 4th International Conference on Titanium Powder Metallurgy & Additive Manufacturing (PMTi) 2017 has been announced. The conference series has been successfully held in Australia, New Zealand and Germany and in 2017 will take place in Xi’an, China, September 8-10, 2017.
The event will be held in the Grand New Century Hotel and is hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Porous Metal Materials, Northwest Institute for Non-ferrous Metal Research, China. According to its organisers, the conference has so-far received 116 abstracts and over 140 registrations from twenty-one countries in total.
The conference programme will feature a wide range of technical presentations and poster sessions from members of industry and academia, on:
- Metal Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)
- Titanium Powder Metallurgy processing
- Titanium powder production and characterisation
- Metal Injection Moulding
- Titanium aluminide
- PM biomaterials
- Microstructure and properties
- Thermomechanical processing
