The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has made a final call for registrations to its Design for Powder Metallurgy Seminar in Bologna, Italy, April 27-28, 2017, as the March 22 registration deadline approaches.

The two-day intensive training course is aimed at designers, particularly in the automotive sector, as well as end users who wish to gain a more comprehensive idea of designing for the PM process.

The Design for PM Seminar will offer an introduction to Powder Metallurgy and its various processes, the materials that can be used and a comparison against alternative manufacturing technologies and processes.

“If you are already designing components, or are thinking about designing components produced by the powder metal process, the Design for PM seminar would be of great benefit to you and your organisation,” stated Dr Olivier Coube, EPMA’s Technical Director.

Interested parties should register via EPMA’s website before March 22, 2017.
