The European Powder Metallurgy Association’s Powder Metallurgy Component Awards 2016 competition is open to EPMA members who manufacture all types of components made by the PM process. The awards are for major achievements in successful commercialisation or innovation of a product, taking into account cost savings, improved quality and stimulation of further usage of PM technology.

This year’s awards will comprise four categories titled PM Structural (including Hard Materials and Diamond Tool parts), Additive Manufacturing, Hot Isostatic Pressing and Metal Injection Moulding.

The awards will be presented during the World PM2016 Congress & Exhibition to be held in Hamburg, Germany, October 9-13, 2016. A short video on each award winner will be prepared by the EPMA and shown during the presentations. All entries will be displayed as part of an Awards Showcase in the World PM2016 Exhibition.

Component entries must submitted via the EPMA Powder Metallurgy Component Awards 2016 website at www.epma.com/awards no later than 6 May 2016
