Porvair acquires Pell Industries

March 7, 2012

Porvair plc, the UK listed specialist filtration and environmental technology group has acquired the assets of Pell Industries, a manufacturer of products for the powder metal industry.

We can use these processes in some of our existing products to improve competitive advantage. This is our second small bolt-on acquisition this year and will be assimilated into our metals filtration division in the next four weeks”

Porvair is a specialist filtration and environmental technology group with operations in the UK, US and Germany, employing around 500 people.

The Group develops designs and manufactures specialist filtration and separation equipment and serves a range of market segments of which aviation, energy and industrial process, environmental laboratories and non-ferrous metals are the most important.
