PMG Shanghai receives supplier awards from Magna and ShuangHuan

PMG Shanghai, the Chinese subsidiary of PMG Group, headquartered in Füssen, Germany, has received industry supplier awards from both Magna and ShuangHuan, a leading Chinese manufacturer of gears and shafts. The company was awarded the ‘Cost Optimisation Contribution Award’ from Magna and the ‘Excellent Supplier Award’ from ShuangHuan.
Presented at Magna’s supplier conference, PMG Shanghai was recognised for the supply of Powder Metallurgy synchroniser sleeves and rings. The award is said to demonstrate PMG’s ability to maximise business value while optimising cost, as well as integrating the most effective and efficient use of resources.
At ShuangHuan’s supplier conference, PMG Shanghai was recognised for its ability to achieve the specified part consistency and reliability. PMG Shanghai has cooperated with ShuangHuan Dalian plant (Huanchuang) closely over the past two years, working to supply components to Volkswagen China. PMG expects the continued collaboration to result in further qualified PM parts.
