PMG Pennsylvania celebrates two decades

The Powder Metal Group (PMG), headquartered in Fussen, Germany, is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of PMG Pennsylvania, LLC, its US-based shock absorber specialist located in Philipsburg.
The company serves as PMG’s North American location for the development and manufacture of PM components for automotive shock absorbers. Housed in a 7,500 m2 facility, the operation possesses a specialised manufacturing range of primary and secondary PMG shock absorber components and over 150 full-time employees.
The facility is said to serve as a perfect example of PMG’s product-focused manufacturing. In recent years, significant investment from PMG in building expansions, production equipment and vision system capabilities have enabled PMG Pennsylvania to respond to changing customer needs.
