Plansee India, a division of Plansee Group, located in Mysore, Karnataka, has been recognised with two national exporter awards.

In April 2022, the group was presented with the National Award for Export Excellence “Star Performance Award” for its 2018-2019 business year in the “Non-ferrous metals (excl aluminium) and articles thereof – Large Enterprise” product group. The award was issued in Delhi by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC INDIA) and was accepted by Bharat K Vivekanand on the behalf of Plansee India.

In May 2022, the group was awarded the Outstanding Exporter (Silver) – Woman Run Organisation – Southern Region award in the category of “Non small scale business”. The award was presented by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), a body of the Indian ministry of commerce and industry. Harikrishna Puranik accepted the award on behalf of Plansee India.

The organisation became part of the Plansee Group under the name Plansee India in 2010 and focuses on the production of fine tungsten and molybdenum wires, as well as other applications.
